In 2007, Patrick Wiremu — who had spent years working in trucking and heavy fabrication, with an eye on owning the business one day — took over from Brian upon his retirement. In a memorable week, Pat welcomed his first child into the world and took on North Harbour Ute Decks in the same breath.
